Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986 Hereford, England) is a English artist and singer. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 due to the catchy electro-pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding makes a mark as a contemporary musician with her distinctive soprano voice, and her talent in making songs that are captivating and empathetic. She's akin in many ways to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other artists of the same ilk. Polydor Records eventually signed Goulding to a major contract. The album she released was ready for release.
