Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) is a famous American author and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. In the past, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She's provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She appeared regularly on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She received a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College in 1983, a Master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 and then an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl served as prosecutor in the US Attorney's Office. She worked as the legal correspondent for NPR All Things Considered. She served as "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Clinton's Impeachment." She served as an associate professor of law with an appointment at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl has worked as an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
