Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. There are more than 20 albums. DiFranco's music is classified as alternative rock, folk rock, but it also has hints from jazz and hip-hop. Ani DiFranco is widely recognized as the feminist's icon, and Grammy-winning performer, is regarded as the creator of DIY music. It was one of the first musicians to start their own labels in the year 90. DiFranco was a born on 23rd September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco. Her mother was born in Montreal as is her father, who is Italian heritage.
